The Secrets Hotel has a wide variety of rooms available. The first type of room is the Bungalow class rooms. We stayed here and they were great. There is also a Preferred Club. This gets you upgraded alcohol in one bar, access to an additional restaurant for Lunch and Breakfast, and some better views (maybe).
If you chose to stay in Playas del Coco, the town closest to the hotel, there will be $110 fee (per person) to enter the resort. You are only allowed to arrive 30 minutes before and will have to leave 30 minutes after the reception.
Notice All The Hills
The Panoramic view rooms are what you see way up on top of the hill. They have shuttles to take you everywhere from there, and back to your room. If you choose to walk, the paths are very steep and made of cobblestone.

If you are in a bungalow, they are lower, but that varies a bit.

All the rooms are essentially the same on the inside. One room has a private splash pool on the patio. Room 122 is prone to flooding (see the FAQ's).
Beautiful Calm Ocean
The water here is very calm and a very safe place for watersports like SUP, Jetski, Kayaks, etc... Non-motorized rentals are included for free

The beach is a beautiful black volcanic beach with every grain of sand being a different color. You will walk this beach between the spa and restaurants for the fastest route.
